THE SIGNIFICANCE OF NUMBERS IN HINDUISM

Dear Sisters & Brothers, We all use numbers in various activities of our daily life but never try to think how they came about and the significance various numbers may be because of our busy schedule in everyday life. Let us explore about this today.

The whole basis of modern computer knowledge is the invention of 0 (zero) by Aryabhatta of Bharat without which there should not have any computer applications which we take it for granted in our daily life. We can appreciate the contribution of Bharat to the world even though we never appreciate in reality. Zero is considered as the Almighty or Brahman or simply God in spiritual sense. That is the reason some people call the computer knowledge as 'Modern God' !
We will be surprised how much the numbers from 0 to 10 mean in religious sense in all religions more so in our most ancient SANATANA DHARMA in particular.
