I wonder if somebody takes a video of all of us 7 days of the week and 24 hours of each day, it will clearly depicts how much time we waste daily without any use to anybody but harming ourselves and others.

There is a device in the Universe which was responsible for the creation, telecasts all of us every second of our life and is in record which we cannot escape by any means. It is really frightening to even to think about this fact.

IMPORTANCE OF DASARA: During the festival of Dasara, the three Goddesses- Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati are worshipped according to certain practices. The tenth day is celebrated as the victory day.
In Dwapara Yuga, when the Pandavas had to spend a year incognito, they hid their weapons on the advice of Krishna, in a Jammi tree which is thick in foliage and whose branches are filled with latent fire. Vijayadasami was the day on which Pandavas retrieved their weapons from the tree and used them to win victory over the Kauravas.
In the Tetra Yuga, Sri Rama’s coronation after His victorious return to Ayodhya from Lanka was prepared on Vijayadasami day.
This is the day on which Shiridi Saibaba left His mortal coil and went to Mahasamadhi.

In some places on the 9th day of Navaratri. The final day of Navaratri culminates in Maha-Navami. On this day KANYA Puja is performed. 9 Young girls (Age 2-10) representing the 9 forms Goddess Durga are worshiped.
Their feet are washed as a mark of respect for the Goddess and they are offered new cloths (new blouse pieces, beetle leaves (if available) and nuts, Kumkum and turmeric) and any other presents by the worshiper.

We were blessed by AMMA to observe KUMARI POOJA a few years ago on the occasion of our 40th Wedding Anniversary.

Today DURGAMMA APPEARS AS MAHISHASURA MARDHANI.

It is highly blissful to chant/listen MAHISHASURA MARIDINI STOTRAM today but also may our sisters may practice to learn by heart to chant daily in their pooja which is highly auspicious to safeguard the whole family. Today is the most auspicious day of MOOLA NAKSHTHRA (Star) which last until 02.53 AM tomorrow Indian Standard Time which is until 10.30 PM in UK and 5.30 PM EST in America.

Let us all observe MAA SARASWATHI POOJA before the above times wherever we are by all the family which is most auspicious.

The final three nights are spent in the invocation of Goddess Saraswati. Victory over the mind can be gained only through the proper knowledge and thorough understanding; Goddess Saraswati symbolizes this highest knowledge of the Self. Lord Krishna himself says in the Bhagavad Gita: "The knowledge of the Self is the knowledge"; and He adds, "It is My vibhuti, My glory." If we do not have the knowledge of the Self, then our knowledge of all other subjects has no real worth. The knowledge of the Self that is represented by Goddess Saraswati.

Goddess Saraswati is worshipped as the bestower of true wisdom and understanding. Once the devotee has been purified by Goddess Durga and has had his vices annihilated, and once he has had the spiritual wealth of inner peace, calmness, compassion and love bestowed upon him by Maha Laxmi, then he is ready to receive the true light of understanding. This wisdom cannot come unless the devotee has passed through the first two stages. Just as one would not pour divine nectar into an unclean, broken and impure cup, one can similarly not expect to have divine wisdom granted unless the vessel has been purified and made divine
Let us concentrate these three days reading, listening & watching Ma Saraswathi without whose blessings, this most sacred life of ours has no meaning.
