Dear SELF, The most common thing all living creatures share is we all are born from parents, the first woman & man we all originated are The Adi Dampatulu namely PARVATI & PARAMESWARA. So we all belongs to one family namely VASUDHAIKA KUTUMBAM (the whole creation belong to one fueamily.
Out of all all the family members, humans are most advanced with the gift of thinking, speaking and acting (thought, word & deed) We are also gifted no other living organism has namely intellect (buddi), capable of discrimination about the world of duality.
There is another pure conscious which has no birth nor death but immortal, which we really are wittnessing all our thoughts, words and deeds which is the main switch without which we cannot appreciate our faculties of thinking, speaking, acting, seeing, hearing, ready and every thing we are capable of WHICH IS OUR REALLY SELF, namely ATHMA which is nothing but PARAMATHMA, the unknown power that controls every thing that happens in this creation which some times called BRAHMAN.
In other words, all living creatures including we humans have one commonunique feature which is being represented out side by a mark on our fore head commonly called by various names like BOTTU, TILAK, NAMAM etc and each one is free to use that symbol according to one's wish and pleasure.
Only human beings can wear this mark on their forehead irrespective of age, sex, marital status which signifies that we are all equal with this common symbol and should ware this mark on our forehead BUT HOW MANY HUMANS WEAR?
5%, I doubt very much even in Bharat, even in Sanatana Dharma and even among women and have your own guess!
The fundamental duty of all humans when we meet others must look first their forehead to see the mark which represents who we really are namely ATMA, but not any other parts of the body. THAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF IMPORTANCE IN THE OLDEST RELIGION OF THE WORLD, NAMELY SANATANA DHARMA.
Those of we who would like to know the importance of bottu or Tilak, please click the link below

LET US THINK TODAY ABOUT THIS AND QUESTION OUR SELF WHY WE ARE NOT FOLLOWING THIS BASIC REQUIREMENT?
Any positive or negative comments are most welcome!
With Love, Light & Peace to the whole Creation,
SivaRamaKrishna
