KASHI YATRA

Dear Sisters & Brothers, One of the aspects of our Sanatana Dharma which we usually practice in real life is PILGRIMAGE (Tirtha Yatra). One such a place every human and at least every citizen of Bharat MUST VISIT at east once in life time which is the original city existed in this universe and which later became world's cultural city and still most popular city on earth.

I was blessed not only to visit but to stay put for more than a year when I just turned 17 years of age in 1961 which I enjoyed every bit of time I spent in this holy city of Banaras. In fact it was a turning point in my life to be the way I am at the moment in time.

Kashi is not only for the old age but for every age group from birth to death and in fact one should be most fortunate to depart this physical body in Kashi and in the last stage of life before death Mahadev (Lord Shiva) whispers in our left year the four divine letters of RAMA-RAMA-RAMA which leads us to the ultimate goal of life without rebirth and death and go back Home from where we came. Such is the importance of this holy city.

We had been twice again to kashi in the recent past to show to my life partner the places I used wonder at my tender age of 17, who became my life line for the last 12 years on March 5th this year and I do not know how many more years!

SO, THOSE OF US WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO VISIT THIS HOLY CITY YET, PLEASE DO NOT POSTPONE TO THE EVENING OF LIFE AND DO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT MOMENT?

As usual TELUGUS are most fortunate and can watch a series of shows in Telugu from the divine voice of Sri Chaganti Koteswararao of Kakinada who made a visit with another about 1000 most fortunate sisters & brothers accompanied for about 10 days stay in the holy city and imparted divine knowledge of KASHI YATRA explaing what to do when we visit this most aspicious city of Kashi. We wish we had been but because of pre arranged schedula, we were not able to go at the time. ONE SHOULD BE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GAVE SUCH A GIFT IN LIFE.

But not to worry! LORD SRI VENKATESWARA CAME TO RESCUE ND SENT HIS TEAM TO RECORD AND BROADCAST IN FULL ON SVBC FOR ALL TELUGUS ALL OVER THE WORLD. I WONDER IS THERE ANY WAY ALL THESE PROCEEDINGS WILL BE TURNED TO IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AS WELL, SO THAT THE WHOLE HUMANITY CAN ENJOY!

See, there is no end to human desires but who knows there comes a time it will be possible in the near future while we are in this physical form. Who knows?
